Compared to other CFLs, ECObulb^®PLUS lamps contain lower amounts of mercury, lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and polybrominated biphenyls. These lamps have lower levels than the standards of the European RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) and NEMA’s (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) proposed mercury levels.
